You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Hougham Parish Council to be held at Hougham and Marston Village Hall, Bridge Street, Marston at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 5th February 2025.

AGENDA
The meeting will start with a public forum which will last no more than 15 minutes.
District and County Councillors will be asked to give their reports.
1. Apologies for absence
2. Resolution to approve Minutes of meeting held on 7th November 2024.
3. Planning matters:
S24/1707 – Change of use of the Lodge to childrens’ home – approved.
S24/1978 – Retrospective approval re positioning of LPG tank at The Lodge – pending consideration. S24/2190 – New agricultural workers building at land within Grange Farm – pending consideration.
4. Highways – C001 reduction to 40 mph – awaiting timescale for speed reduction to be
Implemented – contractors have been instructed.
5. Tree survey, The Green – Paul Bavin – resolution as to way forward with tree works and also
bench painting and path clearance.
6. Village hall car park – works completed – resolution to pay £1,000 (not yet requested).
7. Financial -
Resolution to sign Bank Rec/Income & Expenditure accounts as at 30.11.24, 31.12.24 and
31.1.25. Bank balance at 31.1.25 is £6,208.15.
Resolution to pay LALC subscription of £85.02.
Resolution as to which grounds maintenance firm to use from April.
8. To note any correspondence received.
9. Date of next meeting: 1st May (Annual Parish Meeting, Annual Meeting of the PC and regular
meeting – being held in changing room). Start time 7 pm?
