Minutes 13.9.23
MINUTES of the Hougham Parish Council meeting held on Wednesday 13th September 2023 at 7.30 pm in Hougham and Marston Village Hall.
Present: Cllr John Wright (in the Chair), Cllrs P Baker, J Forbes and Jo Wright. There were no members of the public present.
10/23. Apologies had been received from Cllr P McAllister.
11/23. There were no declarations of interest.
12/23. The Minutes of the meetings held on 17th May 2023 had been read and approved and it was unanimously agreed that the Chair should sign them.
13/23. Planning matters: S23/1179 – Keeper Cottage extensions – approved.
14/23. Highways – had advised Cllr Maughan that the school bus now stops at Grange Farm Barns and it is hoped that this might bring forward the timescale for a reduction in road speed limit here, to 40 mph.
15/23. Financial matters -
Resolved to sign bank reconciliations at 31.5.23; 30.6.23; 31.7.23 and 31.8.23.
16/23. Cllrs Forbes and Baker said how the defibrillator training at Hough on the Hill that they attended, was very informative. Chair asked if the Clerk could look into a Prosperity Fund application for two solar powered SIDs.
17/23. Next meeting – 15th November (precept),
